
| The Villa Askedra Estate is located on the outskirts of the Pelopennese mainland town of Galatas, at the foot of the Andean Mountain on the seafront overlooking Poros Island & the Saronic Gulf. A ten minute stroll takes you to the heart of Galatas town with small water taxis and car ferry service to Poros Island with connections by fast flying dolphin (1 hour) to Piraeus (Athens), (30 min) to Hydra Island and (1 hour) to Spetses Island. Close by is the local beach of Aliki Paradise, the ancient city of Trizina and 1 hour from the world famous Epidavros Amphitheatre. | The villa is situated within its own estate consisting of 25,000 sq/m of ancient olive groves and gardens with citrus and the local indigenous pine trees. The main house has a bathroom, fitted kitchen, large living room with double doors leading to a canvas covered outside eating area and two very large bedrooms. Adjacent to the outside covered eating area is the second building; this has two separate 1 bedroom en suite apartments with their own entrances. The upper apartment also has a canvas covered exterior area. These villas are very cool during the summer months with shade provided by the trees and ample ventilation from the rooms large windows. The villa can host easily 8 people in the four separate bedrooms or can be arranged to suit the occupants wishes with each of the bedrooms having space for 3 or 4 beds. The villa has been restored tastefully this year and is now available for both long and short term lets.
